Be strong and courageous

God’s song to the ages

Observed in the lives of history’s pages

Darkness assails but His strength prevails

Lifting our hearts balancing scales

We’re mighty through God, He never fails

The threat of defeat, He lays foes at our feet

Above earth’s circle He’s taken His seat

This Victorious Warrior knows no defeat

A call to be brave come out of our cave

Creator of all is mighty to save

Free from our sin no longer a slave

Sons and daughters ready for more

An army of light ready for war

The veil has been rent the curtain He tore

Conquering heroes mighty in God

Sword in our hand, prepared, feet are shod

Equipped for the battle wait for His nod

The voice of the One whose promise is true

Speaks to our hearts, “I’ll never leave you”

Nothing impossible He make all things new

So it’s time to take courage it’s time to be brave

Lean on our beloved come out of the grave

Great hope for tomorrow this promise He gave
