You Are Me by Maggie Jamieson
You are a beautiful flower
Sitting beside Him, strenuous
For His mercy, giving birth,
So fathomless;
With Your face comes shining through,
gifted.
For The King, in all His majesty,
Rising.
For thy Kingdom shall come,
Therefore let us celebrate.
You know what’s calling,
Drawing nearer!
Lord, forgive us all.
The world needs peace,
Loving hearts, suspending.
That which pleases Him is love,
Though griev’d soe’er.
The price has been paid,
The ransom of your soul.
Christ, Our Redeemer, Lives.
But now you know,
As the light shines through,
Adjust.
